At a press conference held on Wednesday in Casablanca before the Atlas Cubs' quarterfinal game against South Africa, Baha stated that they are making steady progress in preparing for the match. The emphasis is particularly on studying the opposing team’s advantages and disadvantages.
Highlighting the significance of the squad's spirit during critical matches, Baha admitted that the South African team boasts strength and numerous skilled athletes.
The U17 team’s mentor showed faith in his athletes and their capacity to tackle the difficulty, emphasizing the caliber of his roster, featuring individuals who are active competitors for leading clubs at elite tiers.
Baha emphasized, however, that personal ability alone doesn’t ensure success, highlighting instead that the squad displaying the highest level of dedication and making the biggest efforts during the game will be the ones who triumph.
Morocco is set to compete against South Africa in the AFCON U17 quarterfinals on Thursday at 8:00 PM local time, with the match taking place at the El Bachir Stadium located in Mohammedia.
